Description: 

The GEICO Auto Insurance Program offers AOTA members high-quality car insurance with complete 24-hour sales, policy, and claims service

GEICO also offers property insurance, as well as umbrella coverage which GEICO sells, but the risk on the policies are transferred to third party companies. GEICO manages the policies as the “insurance agent” and has a separate customer care team that handles the property and umbrella policies.

Role&Responsibilities:

Description: 

Synchrony Financial Business is mainly categorized into a functional and four business units. These units generates large volume of data every day and is storing/recording/maintaining in various Data Warehouses and Data Mart's.

These Data Warehouses and Data Mart's are loaded on daily,weekly and monthly basis from various sources. The Data in these data warehouses accessed by various reporting and analytics software to vent different types of reports.

Role& Responsibilities:

• Extensive usage of multifile system where data is partitioned into sixteen partitioned for parallel processing
• Wide usage of lookup files while getting data from multiple sources and size of the data is limited
• Developed generic graphs for data cleansing, data validation and data transformation
• Responsible for cleansing the data from source systems using Ab Initio components such as join,dedup,sort, denormalize, normalize, reformat,filter by expression,roll-up 
• Worked with departitioned components like concatenate,gather,interleave and merge in order to departitioned and repartitioned data from multifiles accordingly

Description:

Ground Operations Dashboard is mainly used by Station personnel to monitor and track the station performance based on the Station-wise operational KPIs. The performance is measured by comparing the metrics with the pre-defined target metrics associated for each station. It provides complete performance of landside as well as airside on daily basis. This application generates  dashboards and reports to the customers. Main sources for GOps are Essbase cube and EDW.

Client: SunTrust Bank ,Atlanta,GA ,U.S                      Project: Volcker Rule.

Description:

Generally Mortgage, CIB and Treasury source teams will provide .dat extension files  for VDM application to fetch the funds and trade desk activities. The source system  file contains 5 types of record formats, the data will be splited based on the record type ( MET,APP,LMT,TRD,HDR ). Transformation will be done based on the record type, in this transformation logic having the CDC Logic(it just compares the today's file with previous day  loaded file , if the record exists then update the record  else  insert the new record to output file  inserted ) and total 8 types load ready files will be generated after the transformation. These updated and new records will be loaded in to the tables by using of update table component in the load graphs.

Role&Respnsibilities:  

• Extensively used Ab-Initio compnents in designing graphs. Components are Input file, Out put file, Look up file, Input table, Output table,Update table, Partition by key,  Concatenate, Gather and Merge, Filter by Expression,  Reformat,  join (Inner, Explicit and Full outer join), Dedup sorted, Rollup, Scan etc
• Used different Ab-Initio Functions like string_lrtrim, string_concat, string_length string_substring,string_filter,string_filter_out, decimal_strip, datetime_difference days, datetime_add,now(), now1(),: is_valid, is_defined, is_null etc.,
• Conversion of serial to MFS file and vice versa.
