Stacey Hatcher

With over 20 years of success in public relations and communications, Stacey Hatcher is a solutions-focused executive, advisor, and thought leader who most recently served as the Vice President of operations & Governance at Tourism Calgary. In this role, she oversaw the strategic direction, execution, and alignment of the organization's operations, governance, human resources, and information technology functions, while also providing leadership and support to the CEO and the Board of Directors.

Stacey has a proven track record of managing media relations, communications strategy, and event planning for high-profile clients, including former Prime Ministers, Premiers, elected officials, CEOs, and executives. She has also led and collaborated with teams across political, corporate, and not-for-profit sectors, delivering impactful outcomes and building strong relationships. As the Owner and Principal of her own business, she offers her expertise and insights to various organizations and groups as a virtual advisory board member and an advisor. Stacey is passionate about creating positive change, fostering a culture of learning and excellence, and connecting people with shared values and goals.

Have grown executive skills over the last five years as part of senior leadership and management teams at the not-for-profit level. Have also grown leadership skills as a founder and business leader for fifteen years, as a trusted advisor with senior leadership and executive teams in the corporate sector for ten years and worked for a decade in federal politics crafting strategy and handling reputations of former Prime Ministers, Premiers, and Members of Parliament.

Experienced with Boards in the not-for-profit sector, the political sector (provincial and federal) and the corporate sector (oil and gas, and electricity) as a presenter, an influencer and a board secretary.

Have most recently completed bespoke executive coaching, have obtained level 300 ICS training and graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts.
