Stefan D'Ippolito

I am a university student at Queen's University studying computer science.  Over the past four summers I have been a summer camp counsellor which I enjoyed, but I am looking for a different type of job to do this summer. As a summer camp counsellor I have experience being active on the job site which I believe is essential for this job. It has also helped me improve my collaboration skills and communication skills in a professional setting which are applicable to almost every job. I am a very creative person so I have a passion for creating things. This is what drew me to computer science, because with it you can make something out of nothing through code. I also enjoy playing guitar and playing sports.

I have been a summer camp counsellor for King Township for the summers of 2018,2019,2021, and 2022. I was tasked with adapting and executing program plans for campers between 7-12 years of age. I created a safe learning environment that was activity rich, equitable, and inclusive. I also Program planned and developed engaging lesson plans that were geared to the age groups at hand.

I am currently enrolled in Queen's University and expected to graduate in 2024. I am pursuing a Bachelors of Computing with Honors and I am minoring in Film and Media.
