Stephanie Garvey

I am Stephanie, originally from New Zealand, where I worked for 13 years in the Not-for-profit sector in various roles such as Project Manager and Fundraising Manager. I have made Canada my home and am retraining as an Art Therapist (a lifelong dream of mine). 

I am looking for paid part-time work in the social services area where I can be of service and grow my skills and knowledge while I do what I am really good at - helping people.

Working as both a facilitator and in evaluations at medical schools in New Zealand and Nova Scotia I have a honed a diverse and varied skill set. A strong academic background rooted in social science theories and methodologies complements my years of experience working in various roles in the NFP sector.

I am completing my thesis for a Master's Level Graduate Diploma from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. While working I have maintained an A average.

I also have a BA in Social Services with Distinction - 2021
