I am highly analytical and creative life science professional with over 15 years of experience, with expertise in molecular biology, cell culturing, knock-out mouse model development, numerous biochemical techniques and patient interaction and sample collection. I excel at managing projects from start to finish and am skilled in data analysis and laboratory administration. In addition to guiding students towards their academic goals, I am an effective communicator of scientific data in written, verbal, and visual formats. My technical, management, analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills make me well-equipped to take on new challenges.
Experience
I am a researcher with extensive experience in stem cell, platelet, and molecular biology. I have spearheaded a team of researchers and developed and tested protocols for differentiating stem cells into megakaryocytes. I have also led a project on creating and characterizing a knock out mouse model and studying thrombosis and coagulation in vivo. I have performed various techniques such as PCR, ELISA, SPR, microscopy, immunofluorescence, recombinant protein production and purification, and data analysis. I have published around 20 papers and reviews in peer-reviewed journals and presented my findings at various conferences.
