Hi! I'm a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with over 17 years of experience working with young children during their most important years of growth and development. I hold an ECE Level 3 certification in both Saskatchewan and Alberta, and I'm truly passionate about creating meaningful, play-based learning experiences that support the whole child.

My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of how children learn best—through hands-on exploration, curiosity, and positive relationships. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with diverse families and educational teams, always striving to build inclusive, nurturing environments where every child feels seen, heard, and supported.

I believe that early childhood education is not just a career—it's a calling. I'm continuously inspired by the wonder and resilience of young learners and remain committed to ongoing professional growth to better serve them every day.

With over 12 years of experience as an elementary school teacher and 5 years dedicated specifically to kindergarten, I have developed a deep understanding of child development, early learning, and classroom leadership. My teaching journey has allowed me to work with children across various age groups, but I’ve found my true passion in the early years—where curiosity, creativity, and foundational learning begin.

Throughout my career, I’ve designed and implemented developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters not only academic growth but also social-emotional development. My classroom is a place where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore, ask questions, and develop confidence in their abilities.

I am skilled in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, engaging families as partners in their child’s education, and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment. My years of experience have strengthened my belief in the power of early education and the lasting impact of a strong teacher-student connection in a child’s life.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, which laid the foundation for my teaching career and deepened my understanding of child development, curriculum design, and classroom management. In addition, I have completed 36 units toward my Master’s degree in Education, with all academic requirements fulfilled. This advanced study has further enhanced my skills in instructional planning, assessment, and educational leadership, allowing me to bring both practical experience and academic depth to my work as an educator.
