As I started my journey in marketing, I have always been actively learning new things and as a result, developed new experiences. During my undergrad, I developed a knack for social media, graphics design, and video editing, which allowed me to expand the digital presence of Modern Scientist Global in the Niagara region. The heavy work schedule did not stop me from learning new things, as I gained Google Ads certification, SEO certification, and Social Media Marketing certification. My new skills helped me to take on more responsibilities as a social media manager for Bluestone Financial, where I polished my knowledge of digital marketing. Furthermore, I led a special project for a local company, where I trained their employees to run a Google ads campaign and social media campaign for 3 months and created a ‘Black Friday’ digital marketing campaign for 3 weeks. I was able to use all of my skills during my Co-op role at Giatec Scientific and initiate new projects for the company. Right after my graduation, I started working as a marketing manager for Lee & Associates Toronto, which is currently one of the biggest CRE brokerages in GTA. Right off the bat, I was able to guide my listing team to their first-ever winning pitch and got one of the biggest deals of their previous inventory. In all the above descriptions, I wanted to highlight my willingness to learn new things and how this habit of learning new things makes me unique and valuable to the company I work.
