Tahli Nguyen

I’m Tahli, a young aspiring Graphic Designer with over 2 years of working experience in all stages of graphic design from ideating and brainstorming to execution and delivery of designs across digital, mobile, and print media. Insightful, detail-oriented, organized, and a dedicated team player who is passionate about telling stories through visually engaging designs.

I have over 2 years of working experience both as a freelancer and team member, in all stages of graphic design from ideating and brainstorming to execution and delivery across digital, mobile, and print media. My projects vary from brand identity packages, print products such as brochures, banners, etc. to digital illustrations, layouts, and websites. Therefore, I am proficient in Adobe CC Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc., and familiar with online design platforms such as Canva, Figma and Webflow. My skills are best demonstrated through the projects on my online portfolio. As I have also been working as a freelance graphic designer since 2021 for many local clients in London, Ontario on a wide range of projects that often involved countless brainstorming, conceptions, presentations, revisions, and communication back and forth between different departments and suppliers, my ability to effectively communicate with people and handle feedback from clients enables me to successfully deliver satisfying design products and provide an overall pleasant experience for them. I am also committed to ensuring quality in tight deadlines to facilitate smooth progression of projects.

I pursued an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Fanshawe College, completing a comprehensive three-year program that focused on developing a strong foundation in graphic design principles and practical skills. Throughout my education, I gained a deep understanding of design concepts, typography, color theory, layout composition, and branding. The program at Fanshawe College provided me with hands-on experience using industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite. I honed my skills in designing a wide range of visual assets, such as logos, brochures, packaging, advertisements, and digital media. Additionally, I learned to effectively communicate ideas and messages through visually compelling designs. Collaboration and teamwork were emphasized throughout my education, allowing me to work with diverse groups of fellow students and simulate real-world design projects. This experience enhanced my ability to collaborate effectively, manage deadlines, and adapt to client needs.
