Hi there! I’m an Educational Assistant working within the school board, where I support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth. My work is rooted in patience, empathy, and a genuine belief that every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable.

My educational background is in Child and Youth Care, and that training has shaped the way I show up every day. I approach my work through a trauma‑informed, relationship‑focused lens, always aiming to create a safe and encouraging environment for the young people I support. Whether I’m helping a student navigate a challenging moment, celebrating a small victory, or collaborating with teachers and families, I bring compassion and consistency to everything I do.

I’m passionate about helping youth build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to thrive. I love what I do, and I’m always looking for opportunities to grow, connect, and make a positive impact both in the classroom and beyond.

My path into this work started at Fanshawe College, where I studied Child and Youth Care. That program shaped so much of who I am professionally and personally. It taught me the importance of relationship‑building, trauma‑informed practice, and meeting every young person exactly where they’re at. Those lessons follow me into the classroom every day.
