TAMIA CAMPBELL

 I am a highly motivated and progress-focused designer with a Bachelor’s in Fashion Design and background in Illustration and a track record of working in group settings and prioritizing dependability, which I believe will prove valuable to your company. 

Throughout the course of my academic career, I have progressed in design development excelling in courses such as Product Design and Technical Design for industry work. As well as working in a design lab during my time as a student lab member. I am equipped with consistent problem-solving skills and managing projects with proficiency.  In my previous roles, I contributed organization, teamwork, and a creative eye toward team efforts and business improvements. I am progressive minded and in tune with new developments in my field. I have proven to be effective and collaborative with strong communication talents. I enjoy collective brainstorming sessions which allow me to coordinate activities to achieve a common goal.

In my personal time, I’ve dedicated time towards my own community by having a role in BFSA, Black student fashion association at TMU whose purpose is a place of community and encouragement for Black designers and artists to recognize the need for accessibility as well as equity within the art communities of Toronto. As well as my own Collective aimed towards making visibility more accessible to designers in my community.
