Strong professional who recently graduated with an Honours Bachelors degree in Economics and a minor in Marketing from York University. Energetic and ambitious person who is always eager to take on challenging opportunities that have the ability to foster personal and professional growth. 

Experience

During the past four years, I have had the pleasure of acquiring substantial experience in various leadership positions. As a proactive individual passionate about helping others, I primarily took on roles that not only helped me develop critical skills as an individual but more importantly allowed to give back positively to the community. 

Working as the temporary Administration Assistant upon graduating allowed me to develop into a great team player in a professional setting whilst teaching me immense technical and organizational skills that consisted of managing and analyzing data, maintaining records in databases, keeping reports up to date and building strong interpersonal relationships with donors. Most importantly, it helped support Canadian athletes with physical disabilities to excel their careers in sports. 

Prior to this, I've worked as the Marketing, Communications and Box Office Manager for Vanier College Productions at York University, where I helped translate the company's business objectives into effective communications by developing and executing multiple marketing strategies. During this role, I embellished, wrote and designed content for brochure's, newsletters and the departments websites whilst managing a team of 15 volunteers that increased ticket sales. At the same time, I also leveraged my theoretical knowledge by applying it practically while I was working as the President (former VP of Marketing) of the Economics Students' Association at York University where we helped bridge the gap between youth and the corporate world by connecting the students to professionals, successful companies and hosting skill building workshops. 

I've also worked as a Telephone Interviewer for the Institute of Social Research and as as Boutique Associate for retail brand Aritzia that has allowed me to polish my listening, problem solving skills and sales skills immensely. 

Education

I had the pleasure of acquiring comprehensive knowledge regarding the depths of marketing and the complexities of the economy through challenging and interactive courses (market research, digital marketing, macroeconomics, econometrics, psychology etc) while pursuing my Honours Bachelors degree in Economics with a minor in marketing. My time in university was vital for my personal and professional growth as it allowed me to delve deep into my interests by giving me exposure to real world issues and allowed me to gain an understanding foundational knowledge on how to solve problems effectively. It prepared to be flexible to prioritize and manage multiple projects based on changing priorities by having to simultaneously work on numerous group projects, student club organizations and part time jobs at the same time.
