I would describe myself as a creative, passionate, ambitious, and imaginative person.  I started dancing when I was 14 and fell in love with it. Acting and movies are something I have always been drawn to. I am interested in dipping my toes in all things creative. I do possess an educational background in management,  however, I am looking for a career switch to a more creative one.  I am interested in working and learning with creative studios in order to unleash my creative potential. My core values are authenticity and empathy. I would love to work at a place that encourages authenticity and a display of honest emotions.  In order to get closer to my creative dreams, I am interested in pursuing roles like broadcasting/movie/fashion production assistant or any other on-the-set roles where I get to learn more and get the opportunity to be in close contact with art and artists.

GAO TEK| HUMAN RESOURCES TEAM LEAD (April 2023-May 2023)

- As a team lead, I lead an HR team of 20 people with the help of assistant team leads. Our team successfully hired candidates for digital marketing, software development, and HR.
- I assisted with team queries regularly.
- As a team leader, I interacted with team members with empathy, conducted weekly meetings, and encouraged them to reach their personal and team goals.


GAO TEK| HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN (March 2023- April 2023)

As a human resources intern, I engaged in the full-cycle recruitment process. I actively posted job ads, headhunted candidates, screened resumes, and interviewed them.


TITAN ADVERTISING| SALES REPRESENTATIVE ( March 2023- April 2023)

I worked as a door-to-door sales canvasser for the Canadian Red Cross Foundation. I made people aware of the values of the  Canadian Red Cross Foundation and collected voluntary donations for charity.


REDPATH CAFÉ| MCGILL UNIVERSITY| DANA HOSPITALITY (March 2022- April 2022)

As a barista, I worked with a team of 10 to make customized coffees for customers and served food and snacks in a busy environment at a school cafe.
ROMADOS RESTAURANT (May 2019- December 2019)
- Handled cash counter
- Received online orders from Uber and Foodora, packed all items correctly, assisted with customer complaints, and reached out to Uber and Foodora to resolve their complaints.
- Was promoted from packing online orders at to cash handler after 1 month.


VOLUNTEER WORK (March 2019- April 2019)

- Volunteered at different high schools in low-income areas to help prepare meals for children and organize /play educational games and activities for/with them.
