I'm currently a Cyber Security Student

In my current role as an intern in the cybersecurity field, I have gained valuable experience using Microsoft Security Stack tools, such as Azure, Sentinel, 365 Defender, MS Defender for Cloud, and MS Endpoint Manager (Intune). My responsibilities include incident response (IR) tasks, such as creating runbooks for ransomware detection based on past events and addressing events like "user added to a group" and "unfamiliar sign-in." I regularly receive and manage daily email alerts from Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, prioritizing and addressing CVEs based on their severity. Overall, my work experience has primarily involved tasks related to security operations analysis.

I am expecting to complete my Diploma in Information Security - Cybersecurity from CCNB, Dieppe, NB in June 2023. My relevant coursework from the first year includes Penetration Testing, Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Data Protection, Email and Web Browser Protection, Social Engineering, Information Security, AI and Machine Learning, MySQL, and Networking Fundamentals. In the second year, I studied Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures, Threat Management, Database Security, Cryptography, Governance and Management of Security using the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Internet of Things Security (mobile and web), Hacking Lifecycle, and Website Development with REST Web Services.
