Client Service Officer.  A contact for the public, locating and processing transportation survey data requested.  A small unit, my supervisor and I were central to the division and had contacts with survey managers in order to respond to questions about survey data collected as well as how to properly use the data.  Billing clients was done in the corporate financial management system. Other duties were to collect and process transportation data and tables with my staff, in order to meet international data requests with OECD.  Also worked with a special team of SAS developers to process most of the divisional data and load it to the CANSIM database. Also maintained the Transportation Divisional internal website. 

Production / IT Manager.  A survey is a complicated, multi-facetted project, in this position I am helping to manage the production of the Canadian Vehicle Survey (CVS) and the Trucking Commodity and Occupation Development Survey(TCOD); and to help plan and develop applications to aid in the efficiency of the production and publishing of survey data.  Unit head managing staff specializing in production of TCOD and CVS data.  Worked on teams participating in the planning and implementation of Data warehousing being developed for the TCOD survey.  Developed procedures and processed survey data to load onto the CANSIM database where it was available to the public. Developed and implemented project plans and timelines in order to meet deadlines under time constraints.

Technical Officer, Client Services & Dissemination.  In this position I have been working on a data identification, coordination project for the Canadian Council on Learning (CCL) for the Culture, Tourism and Centre of Education Statistics Division. 

Unit Head – Client Services Section.  As a unit head, I managed a team that had several tasks including; developing and maintaining the divisional Culture, Tourism and Centre for Education Statistics intranet site, planning and implementing my plan for loading all Culture survey data to CANSIM, maintaining and developing electronic tables on Canadian Statistics, as well as participating in the development of a divisional data warehouse.

IT Manager – Systems Development Section.  For much of this period, I was on full-time French Language training.  I did participate with the Education Statistics Information System (ESIS) team in loading and creating tools to aid in loading institutional data to the ESIS system.

 IT Manager – Education Indicators and Product Development Section.  Worked as a member of a team in calculating education indicators for the OECD and also for the Pan Canadian Indicators Project (PCEIP).  Part of the initial planning team to create a divisional data warehouse.

Senior Statistical Technical Officer – Small Business and Special Surveys Division. Supervisor of a small unit, collecting data from many divisions within Statistics Canada, processing the delivered data in a database I developed and managed.  Delivered the data to our Client Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada on a quarterly basis. Also did work to process divisional data and publish to CANSIM

Information Specialist - Agri-food Chain Analysis section of Economic & Policy Analysis Division in Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada. In this position I was in charge of ordering data from Statistics Canada, processing it and loading it into a database called Food Processing Information System (FPIS). I was a central contact for both the public and internal data clients requiring data housed in the system.  I developed reports of data in the FPIS using COGNOS reporting tools and IMPROMPTU.
