About Tyler Renaud:
Hard working Individual who studied at Trent, Loyalist and Georgian College. Furthermore, advanced my professional skills at the Barrie Native Friendship Center, Georgian College, Anishinabek Nation and Barrie Area Native Advisory Circle. I have experience working with Indigenous communities and delivering information in a culturally safe way while also being observant of traditions that need to respected to maintain positive relationships with First Nations.

Indigenous Coalition Coordinator
Primary force in actualizing BANAC’s Emergency COVID – 19 programs including: emergency Food Program; IT and Tech Devices; transportation and even emergency housing options
Responsible for identifying new funding opportunities that would benefit BANAC and its clients as well pulling together the written application and supporting documents that would make BANAC eligible for more funding
Attended many meetings on behalf of BANAC including Ontario Coalitions, Child and Youth Coalitions and meetings with the numerous Indigenous organizations apart of the Coalition that BANAC heads
Directly assisted the former Director of Services with any tasks she did not have the time or skills needed to complete the task
Involved with many special projects including the redesign of BANAC’s website; identifying land for housing developments; purchasing items for clients and staff; produced a video on homelessness in Simcoe County and leading a presentation of BANAC’s work in community and how others can be involved
