Vanessa Macdonald

I am a hardworking, energetic, caring individual. i enjoy working and keeping busy. I've had many jobs In various fields that have widen my knowledge and experience tremendously. I work well in teams settings cause of my many years playing team sports. I am very family oriented and very empathetic. I enjoy travel very much visiting different destinations learning all the different cultures having appreciation for all. 
I take criticism very well and learn from my mistakes to improve. Employers and coaches have described me to have “Raw” talent! My ability to try something new and excel.

I have worked in various customer service based establishments always putting my customers first and giving my utmost professional self and care possible. I’ve worked with people of all ages from infants to youth to adults and elders. My most recent experience which makes me a great fit for the position was working on Carnival Cruise line. Not only did I provide safety and activities to children I worked with a large team from various cultures and also every passenger onboard. Representing the company professionally and making sure all passengers had a trip to remember. 

My most relevant education was completing gone semester of massage therapy at Durham college on a soccer scholarship. Unfortunately, I was not enjoying the program like I thought I would and an injury to my knee preventing me from playing on the team. But I learned a lot of valuable lesson. Being independent for the first time, managing classes, practices and games. And also having a social life. I learned not only things in a classroom but who I am as an individual.
