Vannessa Carbonneau

With more than 5 years experience, I work as a geomatics specialist (currently project manager) focused on UAV photogrammetry and lidar data processing for professional projects. I regularly support surveyors, engineers, and consultants by handling post-processing, data validation, and quality control of DJI Enterprise (or other) datasets.

My role is often as a backend processing partner, helping teams deliver clean, defensible spatial data without maintaining in-house processing capacity. I prioritize accuracy, clear documentation, and workflows that stand up to technical review.

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Geomatics from UdeS, with a strong foundation in surveying, photogrammetry, GIS, and remote sensing.

Ongoing professional development in UAV data processing, lidar classification, and quality assurance workflows using industry-standard tools such as DJI Terra, Pix4D Mapper, POSPac UAV, TBC, Terrasolid (TerraScan,TerraMatch and TerraModeler), Global Mapper Pro, and QGIS.

My background combines formal geomatics education with practical, real-world project experience across a variety of terrain types and deliverable requirements.
