I am a Business Analyst / Business Development Manager with a strong background in various departments like SEO, SEM, Account Management, Upselling, Sales, Technical Support, Customer Support, Customer Service, Training, and HR.
Experience
I have been working since 2001. I joined Dell in 2001 as a Senior Technical Support Representative. This was during the BPO boom in Bangalore, India. I had to leave this company as someone in my family was ill and I had to take care of them. I then joined my friend and tried to run his inverter sales business for 7 years. In 2004 I joined the Indian Institute of Planning and Management, which later closed down, so I was left without a degree. I put up myself then to a Bachelor in Business Administration with a major in Computer Applications. I learned the basics of Java, .Net, HTML, C, and C++. with knowledge gains in Business, Accounting, and Finance from Annamalai University.
In the meantime, I worked with 247 customer, gaining experience in sales by upselling, "Hyperion", a Business Intelligence software. I also gained experience troubleshooting, "McAfee", the antivirus software.
A need for working day time shift arose so I joined AEGIS. I was one among three out of forty to get selected by performance to work on Yahoo! premises. Here I was among five in a pilot batch, upselling Yahoo! Search Marketing. I did quite a bit of SEO, SEM, Account Management, and Sales here.
After 2 years in this job, I got married and joined the KPO of Hewlett Packard as a Senior Technical and Customer Support Representative.
After working here for about 18 months, I started off with an NGO for the rescue and rehabilitation of animals, owing to my wife's interests. I ran this NGO for nine years and then it had to be shut down because of a divorce.
It was then that I joined Amazon as an HR Assistant Level 2. I was responsible for the payments, leaves, and benefits of Amazon employees for a year and 3 months.
I was still a level 3, so to climb the corporate ladder, I joined a course in MBA by Upgrad, offering me a seat in dual colleges, IMT Ghaziabad and UCW Canada. I am right now, pursuing this course and trying to find a job to sustain myself.
I have also completed Post Graduate Diploma In Business Analytics and Business Intelligence.
Education
I have completed my first year of MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad. I have procured 82.7% in my first semester, 85.95% in my second semester, and an aggregate of 83.99% in my first year.
I have procured 91.9% in Business Communication, 82.7% in Marketing, 93.36% in Sales, 82.55% in Business Strategy, 85.07% in Leadership, 90.2% in Risk Management, and 81.8% in Market Research.
