About Victoria Thomson:
With a decade of experience as a professional administrator, I prioritize the development of operational systems within the organization. I approach every job phase with empathy and a willingness to explore new ideas. Understanding the diverse values of my superiors, peers, and clients, I focus on fostering positive relationships. Passionate about technology and creativity, I enjoy uplifting those around me.
Experience
With over 17 years of diverse professional experience, my career journey began at Wal-Mart Canada where, for more than seven years, I created engaging and friendly shopping experiences for hundreds of customers weekly. My path then led me to the real estate sector, where I worked in administrative and support roles at RE/MAX Chay Realty and Keller Williams Golden Triangle Realty. These experiences allowed me to gain significant expertise in transaction coordination and support services.
Following my passion for customer service, I spent nearly two and a half years at Extend Communications as a Customer Service Representative. There, I honed my skills in emergency situation handling, always maintaining professionalism while actively listening to customers' needs.
Currently, I am serving as a Listing Coordinator at The Golfi Team RE/MAX, a role I've held for over three years. In this position, I've been instrumental in developing efficient listing procedures and implementing cross-training programs, leveraging my skills in sales, customer service, and marketing. I am proud of my career progression and am eager to continue leveraging my skills and experiences in my future professional endeavours.
Education
My educational background is rooted in business and digital media arts. I began my post-secondary education at Seneca College. There, I delved into courses such as Video 1, Sound Engineering, and Multimedia Software Application.
In 2011, I decided to pivot towards business and enrolled in a three-year Business Administration program at Georgian College. Earning a GPA of 3.4 and an esteemed Co-Op Award for my contributions. During this time, I gained crucial skills through courses such as Microcomputer Applications, Marketing, and Business Math.
