With 2 years of hands-on experience in sports event marketing and management, I've had the privilege of working on a wide array of sporting spectacles. From major tournaments to local community events, I've witnessed the transformative power of sports in uniting people and fostering memorable moments.
The changing challenges of sports event marketing excite me. Planning, organising, and carrying out extensive campaigns that increase participation and attendance are all part of my journey. I specialise in connecting sports fans with the events they love through the use of digital platforms, data-driven analytics, and creative storytelling.
Experience
I am currently a Marketing Intern at the London Majors Baseball Club, where I engage in various activities such as in-game activations, merchandise sales, sponsorship activation, and creating content for social media. This role allows me to combine my passion for sports with my marketing skills, enhancing the fan experience and contributing to the club's promotional efforts.
I also work as a Communications Intern at Prime Time Sports and Entertainment, where I get access to valuable experience in the field of sports communications.
Previously, as an event Staff member at Fanshawe Athletics since September 2022, I have been instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of sporting events on campus, contributing to the dynamic atmosphere of campus athletics.
Since September 2022, I have also been a Customer Service Representative and Line Cook at the Fanshawe Student Union. In this role, I provide exceptional customer service and hospitality, while also managing culinary offerings, thereby serving and enriching the student community's experience.
From May to October 2022, I served as a Field Sales Associate with Good to Great Solutions, representing Rogers Communications in London Ontario. This door-to-door sales role helped me hone my sales skills and customer engagement techniques, allowing me to connect directly with customers and meet their telecommunications needs.
My professional journey began at Teleperformance in Mohali, Punjab, where I worked as a Customer Service Representative from January 2021 to May 2022. In this position, I handled customer concerns through chat, retained dissatisfied customers, pitched new products, and consistently provided excellent front-line service.
Education
I am currently pursuing a diploma in Sports and Event Marketing at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, from 2023 to 2024. This program involves an in-depth study of sports marketing concepts, including game day marketing, activations, leveraging sponsorships, and utilizing a wide range of sports marketing tools. I have had the opportunity to work with real-life professional sports organizations as clients for various assignments, providing practical experience and enhancing my understanding of the sports marketing industry.
