Waleed earned a Ph.D. in wireless communication in 2004, followed by 20 years of vast hands-on field experience in the Wireless and Telecommunication Industry.
He had the privilege of helping partners and customers globally implement their wireless network projects and build their Infrastructure networks using multiple wireless technologies.
Working across different continents and geographies in the Americas, Asia, Middle East, and Africa for various verticals such as telcos, Oil and gas, Banking, Education, Transportation and Health, He consulted, managed, and supervised all wireless projects engineering phases starting from Site Survey, Site Acceptance, RF coverage design, planning, training, testing, optimization, monitoring, and security.
His entrepreneurial spirit and teaching talent led him to train thousands of engineers working in telecommunications worldwide.
Waleed is the Founder of WH-CONSULT CANADA and Director of Advanced Broadband Wireless Solutions at EION Wireless.
Before 2013, Waleed worked as an International Senior ICT Consultant for many USAID and International Development Projects.
Waleed is an active technical member of the IEEE Telecommunication Forum and WISPA Group and an International speaker at many Telecom Conferences and Events.
