About wasan leerat:

I graduated in Electrical engineer major in electronics engineering from Thailand but since I have moved to Canada and presently reside in the Wine Capital of Canada ( Oliver, BC ). I have experiences about Wine and Grape from ground-up. I started as a vineyard worker for Quinta Ferreira on black sage bench and learn about the Portuguese wines and certainly wines has fascinate me. So, I step up to work in the wine shop while studying part time in Winery Assistant Certificate which educate me about Wine making process, chemistry, tasting etc. I was very lucky that Covert farms where I work during my second year in Oliver had support me for education and also gave me a chance to hands-on in their cellar from crushing, fermenting till bottling. Also, because I have experiences in forklift driving while I was a Cargo team lead for FedEx in Calgary, here I have a chance to drive it and carry a more value cargo (Wine barrels).

I have a chance to drop wines sample to Arterra lab many times and I am intrigue about how big is the facility and certainly the wine tanks.

I wish that with my education and experiences will someday give me a chance to work for you.

Experience

I was a product/test/application engineer for a hi-tech firm in Thailand and Singapore and once for the tech firm in the U.S.( Remotely). It was all about semiconductor and hard disk drive manufacturing.

When I was working as an application engineer in Singapore, I was part of the global team who develop the RFID which is now using all over the globe. 

About wines, I have a chance to do pruning, tying, canopy managing, cutting etc while I work in vineyards. I have a chance to do a tasting when I work in the wine shop. I have an experience with wine making when I work in the cellar from crushing, pressing, fermenting, pump-over, blending till bottling. With my education in winery assistant, it help a lot to understand all about wine and other alcoholic drinks.  

I also experiences in manufacturing, e.g semiconductor, hard disk drive, mineral insulated cable, and logistic e.g FedEx.

Education

I have graduated in EEE ( Electrical Electronics Engineering).

I have graduated in Computer Aid Design.

I have graduated in Winery Assistant.
