Electrical Engineering EIT & Junior Project Manager at Felix Technology Inc., Concord,

Duties included the set up, testing, and commissioning of radar systems for marine traffic
for the Canadian Coast Guard. These systems were composed of Hardware components
such as dual-transceivers, switch boxes, wave-guides, and other electrical components
such as sensors, and Software components such as Linux operated workstations to
control and manage the radar system.
Worked on configuring the Hardware and Software components of these systems,
prepared and packed shipments to be sent to their respective radar sites across Canada,
prepared packing lists, bill of materials, and arranged shipments for pickup and delivery.
Interacted with customers from the Canadian Coast Guard HQ to perform
post-commissioning tests, ran meetings to coordinate site visits across the country and
to ensure all the technical aspects of the system were explained and clarified with the
customer.
Traveled across Canada to facilitate commissioning of these radar systems which
included inspecting the installations, troubleshooting any electrical issues, taking
measurements, programming the workstations, and working with IP networks to set up
remote connections. The customer was present during these visits, and my duty was to
answer their questions in a timely and professional manner.
Prepared test reports, wiring diagrams, site floor-plans, and worked on translating
English documents to French, all while being in direct contact with customers through
E-mail and over the phone to cater to their needs.

Engaged in multiple projects that provided a good example of what working as an
engineer would be like, which has enticed me to learn more about how I can apply
myself and maximize the output from my skill set in the field of electrical and electronics
engineering.
