William Chieh-Ta Huang

A highly self-motivated professional, educated in Canada and US, an experienced Electrical Engineer and Business Manager with working experience in US and Asia, delivering executive support and team leadership to business operations. Dependable and detail-oriented to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Broad experience demonstrating entrepreneurship, products management and business development skills.

I worked in Taiwan as an engineer for 6 years in mobile software research and development that involved the full software development cycle including designing, testing and QA. This position also required me to act as a contact window with solutions providers and device vendors from around the world. To achieve our company goals, I also had to collaborate with various functional teams internally such as product marketing, UI/UX design, and the project manager.  

For the past 10 years I have become an entrepreneur to start up a company to import and distribute gourmet products. This requires me to research the market, identify the opportunities, source the products, develop both B2B channels and B2C clients, and create and promote brands. During the pandemic, I partnered with other businessmen to bring a bubble tea franchise business overseas and developed FinTech businesses in Southeast Asia. My focus in this venture was more on marketing and business development. For the past 3 years, I also had the honor to assist Dr. John Wu from Taipei Medical University to establish a Wellness Center to promote EECP (Enhanced External Counter Pulsation), also focusing on marketing and business operations. 

I finished my high school in Toronto, Ontario. My Bachelor and Master’s degrees are both obtained in the USA in Electrical Engineering.
