My name is William Howes, and I am a fencing coach, hockey referee, fencer, and soon-to-be practicing artist at AU Arts. I am extremely passionate about art, sport and teaching others. My biggest strengths is my creativity, communication, work-ethic and teamwork.

My name is William Howes, and I am a fencing coach, hockey referee, fencer, and soon-to-be practicing artist at AU Arts. I have been coaching fencing to kids and adults for a little over a year. I really enjoy the interactions I experience while working with others and teaching them something new. Coaching fencing has helped me immensely in understanding and following instructions, building confidence in my words, and speaking in front of a group while working with more challenging individuals.

Along with coaching fencing I have also been employed as a hockey referee during the hockey season for 5 years. Refereeing has helped me immensely in managing the kids, parents and coaches. Refereeing has also improved my quick thinking skills.

I have been studying art for the past 3 years and have achieved early admission into AU Arts (formally known as ACAD) for a bachelors of art degree in drawing. currently I am in my final year at Central Memorial High School in the visual arts program.
