Xiaolang Lu

I am an Electrical Engineering student at the University of British Columbia (UBC), expected to graduate in May 2025, with a strong passion for electronics and hands-on engineering.

One of my key academic projects involved designing and building a pulse measurement device, where I personally designed the custom PCB, selected components, and assembled the full system. This project gave me practical experience in circuit design, signal processing, and prototyping.

I have also hand-built electric motors and taken a strong interest in communication engineering, which I pursued through a fourth-year technical elective.

Designed the electrical layout for a mobile home community near Okanagan College.

Selected appropriate solar panels based on energy needs and cost-efficiency.

Planned streetlight placement for optimal coverage and energy use.

As I prepare to graduate this May, I am actively seeking internship or entry-level opportunities where I can apply my skills, gain real-world experience, and grow into a professional engineer. I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to your team as a responsible and enthusiastic engineering intern.

Recent Electrical Engineering graduate from UBC (May 2025), with hands-on experience in circuit design, solar power systems, and PCB development.
