Throughout my professional and extracurricular experiences, I have developed a diverse range of skills that enhance my professionalism in facilitating events and communications. During my time as a Communications and Public Affairs Intern at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority in Hong Kong, I gained valuable expertise in government relations, crisis communications, and stakeholder management. In this role, I was responsible for drafting CEO’s speeches for interviews, and presentations for external stakeholders, managing corporate issues and negative press reports, and catering to the needs of high-level government delegates from Mainland China and Consulate Generals overseas. As a Sponsorship Coordinator for The University of Toronto Mississauga Charity Fashion Show Club, I partnered up with more than 30+ businesses and secured sponsorships for our annual charity fashion show and coordinated social events for club outreach. In addition, I collaborated with the marketing and public relations team to build connections with external parties, developed sponsorship packages and contracts, and was involved in ticket selling and event promotions. Currently, in my roles as the Marketing Director for The University of Toronto Erindale Hong Kong Student Society and Events Executive for The University of Toronto Canadian Asian Student Society, I continue to sharpen my skills in writing, advertising, social media management, event planning, and stakeholder engagement.

In my academic career, I have gained knowledge of various software programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop/Lightroom, XD, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, and HTML/CSS Web Design. My proficiency in these tools has enabled me to create effective and engaging content across various platforms, such as social media and websites.
