Yi Wei Zhao

I am a licensed pharmacist in BC, Canada and have been practicing here for the past 5 years after graduating from UBC in 2018. I have worked in a variety of retail and clinical settings, and have experience working with a variety of patient populations. I am extremely passionate about providing exceptional care to patients, and would love to become a part of your team!

I worked for 3 years as a floater pharmacist for Save On Foods, travelling all across the province. In the last year with them I became a clinical pharmacist, specializing in optimizing patients' pharmaceutical treatments by identifying any issues, conducting research, creating care plans and then implementing them with the patient. I then started working at Pharmasave as a staff pharmacist and helped them manage their many OAT patients (methadone and suboxone) and providing accurate and up to date pharmaceutical advice to many local doctors and clinics. I am very experienced with many aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, including developing relationships with key stakeholders, providing knowledge regarding medicines to both patients and other healthcare professionals, and making recommendations for therapy based on current guidelines.  I am confident in my communication and presentation skills, and am certain I would be a valuable addition to your team!

I studied Pharmacy at UBC and graduated in 2018. I am licensed to practice in British Columbia.
