Yizhe Liu

My name is Liu Yizhe, you can also call me Leanna if you prefer. 

I recently completed my final project for my master's degree program, where I specialized in Business Analytics at The University of Hong Kong. Before that, I graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Finance and Economics, so I have a composite academic background, I developed deep knowledge in the diverse field of finance including financial risk management, credit risk, market risk, liquidity and operational risk, capital market, corporate finance and investment, additionally, I also possess a strong quantitative and programming skills with rich knowledge in machine learning models, statistics and programming skills in python, R, sql and vba, which enabled me to apply my quantitative reasoning skills effectively. And I am proud to have already passed Financial Risk Manager Level I certification exam in my sophomore year, which demonstrate my early passion and determination for pursuing a career in financial risk management. And I plan to pass the FRM level II by the end of this year. I have gained 5 professional experience working in KPMG, Aqumon, Aqumon is a fintech wealth management robot firm in Hong Kong, Bank of China and including a capstone project with Microsoft. Through these experience, I have become comfortable handling pressure in fast-paced work environment, and I enjoy encountering new, unknown things. And since I have done many projects during my university and past internship experience, I am used to working in a project based work environment and I am a strong team player know how to motivate and cooperate with others. In my sparse time, I enjoy reading my interested books, snorkelling and traveling around the world.

I have gained 5 professional experience working in KPMG, Aqumon, Aqumon is a fintech wealth management robot firm in Hong Kong, Bank of China and including a capstone project with Microsoft. Through these experience, I have become comfortable handling pressure in fast-paced work environment, and I enjoy encountering new, unknown things.
