I am currentlt working for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada as a biologist, serving as an interface bwtween scientist and technical staff. My major responsibities include overseeing experiment, conducting data analysis, preparing proposals, report and manuscript, and presenting research results at conferences. I have been working on the projects for spring wheat, winter wheat, canola, barley, soybean, faba bean, flax and lentils etc. To date, I have prepared tweleve manuscripts and tne of them have been published.

I have eight years experience in canola and wheat seed research and production

I have solid background and professional skills in water, nitrogen management of crop production, soil science, nutrient cycling, agricultural field plot design, field data acquisition, lab analysis, statistical analysis, satellite image process and vegetation index application in crop stress detection and grain yield prediction

I am skilled in project design, management, proposal drafting, progress and reports

I have practical experience with agricultural industry in Alberta

Education

I graduated from China Agricultural University (Beijing, China) in June 2004 with a Ph.D. in Crop Science. I received my M.Sc. in Crop Science from Henan Agricultural University (Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China) in June 2021, and my B.Sc. in Agronomy from the same institution in July 1993.
