#3 @Kevin Baker Great input!! I need to take more time "Post Sale" to show my appreciation. Currently I have a semi-generic email I send letting them know I appreciate their order, and now they will be talking to the project manager. However I rarely make it more personal then their name and company. I think this point could be very helpful for me to be able to create more repeat clients, and better relationships with those clients.

#2 When I was a broker in manufactured housing I struggled with poor word of mouth referrals . I was in such a hurry to get to the top of the hill and repeat. A very wise and trusted friend showed me I was missing out on the power of gratitude and how I was leaving my customers feeling incomplete. After the sale I take the time to thank and show gratitude to each customer, and I stress the importance of sincerity as all of them know a snow job,(pun intended in theme), I explain with vulnerability how they have helped me to be a better person, better salesperson, and acknowledge their contributions to my life not just professionally, but also personally. I always got caught up in the detached professional side and was missing out so much. My average after changing this went from 6 ot 7 K per month to 30K+ every month, referrals came at a rate I had to give half of them away.

FUTURE READY: Corporate Lesson from Apple and Samsung Rivalry.

Great post from Richard Pedramnia yesterday regarding Samsung making more money off selling iPhone X parts than it made in Samsung S8 (https://www.theverge.com/platform/amp/circuitbreaker/2017/10/2/16404430/samsung-iphone-x-galaxy-s8-screen-components-money-revenue-display). Reminds me of a popular saying that there aren't any friends or enemies in business but only "Vested Interests". It's truly commendable how both these global behemoths are able to keep away market forces and temptations to screw each other up. There are LIFE LESSONS for individuals working in an organization in this:

    1. There are no friends or enemies at work so do not take things too personally.
    2. Do the best you can and strive to be at the top of your game.
    3. Cooperate and make things easy for your teams and colleagues and you will always be considered a hero.
    4. Selfishness and vested interests are traits of losers, not leaders.
    5. Most of all, enjoy the ride as happiness is not a name of the destination but the journey itself.
    6. Temporary failures should not deter you to achieve excellence (Note 7 Failure).

Best of luck to these technology giants as the world awaits marvels in gadgetry to come from them for years to come.

In fact, Stephen Paddock, "who killed 58 people and injured at least 515 others at a Las Vegas concert, was a retiree with no criminal history in the Nevada county where he lived," police said Fox News reports. MGM and law enforcement officials now (as of public reports on Friday, October 13, 2017) agree their approaching hotel security guard was shot at 10:05pm PT (1:05am ET), and then shortly afterwards Stephen Paddock opened fired into the crowd of concertgoers.

Historically speaking, total numbers of firearm-related incidents have actually fallen through the decades. Before 1993, the number of people killed or wounded by firearms skyrocketed. Thereafter, America has seen a precipitous drop in deaths due to firearms, including fatal firearms accidents reduced to approximately 40 percent in the last decade, and nowadays reduced to as high as 49 percent, according to the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) conservative think-tank, with such fatal firearms accidents statistics resting now at their lowest levels ever chronicled.

The president praised law enforcement for their bravery in rapidly tracking down the (now deceased from suicide) active shooter, Stephen Paddock, 64, high atop Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay 32nd floor (unleashing several hundred rounds of bullets from automatic weaponry through a busted out window) over 40,000 concertgoers at the nearby Route 91 Harvest country music festival site Sunday evening, shortly after 10pm PT (1am ET), saying that "in moments of tragedy and horror, America comes together as one" in the wake of the largest domestic mass shooting in modern U.S. history, killing nearly 60 people and injuring and hospitalizing over 400 other concertgoers.

The right to bear arms was granted to the American people by the drafters of the constitution, who understood first-hand the effects of a tyrannical government, and included that right in the constitution before many other bills of rights, such as the right to trial by jury, and the prohibitions against illegal search and arrest.

Historically speaking, total numbers of firearm-related incidents have actually decreased over decades. In the early 1990’s, the number of people killed or wounded by firearms soared. Since 1993, however, America has seen a steady drop in deaths due to firearms.
