Job Summary:
Supply Chain and Execution is responsible for scheduling production, packaging, warehouse and/or laboratory work to meet the agreed upon Master Production Schedule.
Scheduling involves optimizing the use of production, packaging, warehouse and/or laboratory resources to achieve customer service objectives and will concentrate on a 1 to 8-week horizon.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Supply Chain projects for efficiency gains or LEAN opportunities across cross functional areas and support strategic corporate/business objectives.
- Participate actively in workshops/transformations for highlighted process improvements.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for Manufacturing/Packaging/Quality Control Lab across Supply Chain.
- Understand cross site customers' requirements to ensure their needs are met and supported.
- Implement escalation processes across Supply Chain with various levels of Management
- Resolves more complex issues and minimize disruption across Supply Chain processes to meet available to promise (ATP) deadlines, while maximizing efficiencies in Production, Packaging, and Labs
- Resolve bottleneck issues and predict next potential bottleneck within the work streams through analytical techniques and develop methods.
- Using advanced understanding of capacity analysis to determine Scheduling limitations to drive decisions as well as lead Adhoc meetings to drive decisions and closure of gaps.
- Coordinate Supply Chain priority decisions across the business (ex. Sampling/Finished Goods Shipment/Intermediates/Stock Transfer Orders)
- Periodic reviews of SOP's to ensure information is adequate and aligned with cGMP regulations relating to Supply Chain.
- Ensure a proactive approach to audit readiness.
Job Requirements:
- 3 to 4 years of related work experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing and orLaboratory environments with proficiency in batch documentation issuance and control.
- Postsecondary education in related discipline preferred.
- Demonstrates adaptability, attention to detail with strong accuracy and timeliness.
- Proven communication, time management and customer service skills.
