Thrive Childcare is a group licensed daycare in East Chilliwack BC for children 0-5 years of age.We are currently looking for someone who can work Monday to Friday, preferably full time but part time will be considered.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, patient, nurturing and a team player, who can provide a safe empathetic environment for children of 0-5 years of age.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Supervision of children 3-5 years of age
Caretaking duties (Such as diaper changes, Nap time, feeding or dressing)
General cleaning duties
Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum and art projects
Guide children's behavior
Record keeping when necessary
collaborating with families
Develop and maintain a safe environment
Support development of children
Conducts themselves in a professional manner
Participates in professional development training and learning
Prepping and implementing art, circle, and engaging experiences for children
Qualifications:
Education
- Grade 12 and Completed Responsible Adult certificate, ECEA certificate or ECE certificate.
- prefer 1-2 years of experience in the childcare field but not necessary.
We offer a healthy work environment and 3 weeks paid vacation time.
Job Types:

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:
Early Childhood General Education Teachers: 1 year (preferred)
