Position:
Service Technician (Permanent opportunity)


Location:
Mississauga (Dixie/Eglington)


Pay:
up to $26/hr. (Based on experience)
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm


Typical day:
troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on restaurant equipment in restaurants.

No license or education is required but would pay more for relevant education.


Looking for those who are:

• Mechanically inclined
• Can read instructions, blueprints and drawings.
• Background with gas and electrical equipment an asset
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable with physical aspects of the position-lifting up to 50lbs.
• Travel to various locations in the GTA is required.
• 50% of their time is spent in the shop working on equipment, the other 50% on the road visiting clients in need of maintenance and repair.
• Strong customer service skills, neat in appearance
• Excellent communication
• Clean driving record

Requirements:

• Physically demanding; Ability to distinguish between colors; Bending, crouching, kneeling.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Trade certification in a related field. (electrical/mechanical/technical/refrigeration) is an asset.
• 2 years of previous experience servicing hot food equipment is required
• Electrical/ mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new technology.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record (abstract) required.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills, accountable and self-driven.
