Salary: 50K - 60K + Commissions + Bonus + benefits

Experience in working with refugees, newcomers

Student Recruitment experience is an asset

Good relationships with Non-profit agencies

JOB SUMMARY:


The Newcomer Integration Manager will initiate, nurture, build and manage partnerships with settlement and integration agencies, newcomers groups, and stakeholders to provide opportunities for accessible career education to refugees in Canada.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Partnership and Business Development Responsibilities**- Initiate and develop strategic partnerships and relationships with settlement and integration agencies, non-profit organizations, and newcomers groups to provide pathway to accessible career education to refugees in Canada at Campus Support post-secondary institutions.

  • Prospecting for new partnership and business development opportunities through networking, presentations, and outreach to potential partner agencies, groups and stakeholders.
  • Liaise between the refugees, stakeholders and the colleges to develop solution and provide accessible support to better support refugees through their admission process.

Admission Responsibilities:


  • Conduct group orientations to provide information on programs and offerings
  • Maintain records and follow the processes by each colleague and campuses.
  • Coordinate with colleges to achieve start and stay results that are consistent with the company targets.
  • Interview potential students; identify their career goals and providing advice on appropriate programs to meet their goals.
  • Provide individualized support to enrolled refugee student by employing motivational strategies to ensure completion and placement with potential employer.
  • Maintaining records to contribute to the administrative functions of the campus such as:_
  • Completing enrollment of new students, including related paperwork and providing initial information on payment options.
  • Ensuring all student documentation and files are complete, including completion of prerequisites to enable a timely program start.
  • Tracking and reporting on weekly activities (i.e. leads, appointments, interviews, enrollment).
  • Achieving monthly and annual sales targets such as:_
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets
  • Maintaining a standard of Enroll/Start ratio
  • Other related duties as assigned

Marketing and Sales Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with Marketing team and colleges to initiate and launch campaigns, presentations and marketing materials to support the program objectives and KPIs.
  • Planning and participating in campus events such as: Open Houses, Information Sessions, Trade Shows, Event Booths, etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in the Newcomer Integration Manager position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining, and demonstrating the following:


Education and Experience:


  • Proven experience in building partnerships, business development, sales and marketing
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience working with settlement and integration agencies, nonprofit organizations, donors, or other relevant newcomer service organizations

Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong relationship building skills and an entrepreneurial approach
  • Good understanding of the education market, agencies and schools
  • Proven intercultural and crosscultural communication skills
  • Able to travel within province and beyond to meet and liaise with potential partners and clients
  • Proven ability to negotiate and work with high level executives
  • Proven sales, marketing and business development skills
  • Demonstrated success in a similar role and tangible experience of having expanded and cultivated existing partnerships over time
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to handle objections
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft productivity software
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
