Nightshade is a globally inspired vegan restaurant in a warm yet elegantly floral dining setting in Yaletown, Vancouver.

The A Là Cartè style menu will provide diversity; with plates and palleted flavours inspired from all around the world.

Nightshade is looking for an energetic, opening server / shift leader to join their team

We have a fully vegan food menu,

Shifts will run from Wednesday - Sunday - 9:30am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing fast, friendly, professional, elevated and responsive service to restaurant guests, restaurant staff and our culinary team
• Greeting and welcoming each guest and seating them to their assigned tables
• Being very familiar with all food and beverage items on the menu.
• Performing the opening duties i.e. Setting up the bar, patio** restaurant, restocking products and prepping fruit & syrups for night service.
• Maintaining and ensuring the overall cleanliness of establishment by sweeping and mopping every morning.
• Performing accurate cash & credit handling as well as POS procedures.
• Performing leadership duties, making adequate shift decisions and ensuring smooth service
• Protecting the restaurant and guests by complying with sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.

Experience:

- serving: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Smart Serve, SIR or equivalent (required)
