    Job Description

    We are looking for a Powertrain Performance CAE Engineer to join us

    Missions:

    • Develop and enhance 1D engine simulation models utilizing GT-Power, focusing on various engine architectures and integrating key engine system components.
    • Execute comprehensive steady-state engine analyses to evaluate torque, power, and fuel efficiency.
    • Undertake transient engine simulations aimed at refining engine control algorithms and boosting vehicle performance metrics.
    • Craft Fast Running Models (FRM) to facilitate MIL & HIL controls development, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in simulation processes.
    • Innovate and refine analytical methodologies for engine technology modeling, aiming to reduce reliance on extensive test data.
    • Deliver insightful design recommendations at both component and system levels, informed by thorough analysis results, to guide engineering design decisions.
    • Actively engage in product design and development teams, presenting analysis findings to peers and management, fostering collaborative improvement.
    • Skillfully convert 3D CAD models to 1D simulation geometries, employing precise discretization methods to maintain model integrity.
    • Author and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents, ensuring clarity and accessibility for team reference.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with 1D CFD simulation software such as GT-Power or WAVE, demonstrating proficiency in engine modeling and analysis.
    • Proven background in engine testing and development, showcasing a deep understanding of engine performance dynamics.
    • Exceptional analytical skills, particularly in addressing complex, multifaceted problems, with a track record of innovative problem-solving.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the engine development cycle, with the ability to contribute effectively across all phases.
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is mandatory, establishing a solid foundation in core engineering principles.
    • A Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is highly desirable, reflecting advanced specialization and expertise in the field.
