    Position Title: Registered Massage Therapist

    Job Class: Part Time Contractor

    Work Location: 243 Eglinton Ave W, Toronto, ON

    Position Summary:

    The Uptown Health Centre has a part time opportunity for a Registered Massage Therapist to work at our Eglinton location.

    As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will receive patient referrals from Physiotherapists, chiropractors, and doctors. We are looking for an RMT capable of performing the following duties:

    What you will be doing:

    • Familiar with various massage types, able to adjust and design sessions based on client needs.
    • Perform massage therapy sessions of various lengths.
    • Conducts themselves ethically, with strong customer service orientation.
    • Communicates effectively with clinic administration and clients.
    • Provides treatments to relieve pain, heal injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation and aid in general wellness.
    • Obtains medical history, symptoms, and desired results to develop customized treatment plans.
    • Guides clients on improvement of postures, strengthening and stretching techniques.

    You have:

    • Must be in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
    • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must have excellent time management skills.

    The salary offered for this position falls within a specified salary range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific needs of the organization.
