Description
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Residential Construction Labourer to join our team.

The Labourer will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on various residential construction projects, including new construction and renovations.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the preparation of worksites, including cleaning and organizing materials and equipment
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
  • Operate power tools and equipment as directed
  • Dig and grade trenches, lay foundations, and install drainage systems as needed
  • Assist with framing, roofing, and other carpentry tasks as directed
  • Assist with electrical and plumbing installations as directed
  • Maintain a safe and clean worksite, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in residential construction or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors and more experienced workers
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time, including lifting heavy materials and equipment
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Salary:
$19.00-$26.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Greater Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)
