Position Summary_

Reports to the MP&L Manager, as Master Scheduler you will manage planning of manufactured components, inventory levels, review and act on order releases and exception messages in addition to finished goods planning to ensure 100% customer satisfaction, support production efficiencies and inventory target levels

Major Duties and Responsibilities_

  • Plan finished goods levels
  • Ensure continuous flow of materials through the plant to support productivity
  • Plan and monitor Kanban (pull system activities)
  • Contribute to monthly BOS reporting
  • Improve inventory accuracy and reduce all inventory levels
  • Support engineering and manufacturing during new program launches (NPIS)
  • Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and develop TVM ideas
  • Track and measure plant performance (Inventory & Shipments)
  • Co ordinate shipments with sub contractors and sister plant facilities
  • Set up expedites and track
  • Disposition of non conforming materials and inventory discrepancies
  • Create and support Sales & Operations Plan with manufacturing
  • Inventory adjustments, cycle counting of components
  • Balance out materials for old programs and new product introductions
  • Comply with requirements of the necessary quality standards _(QS9000/ISO/TS16949/ISO14001_
    )_ to ensure recertification
  • Actively participate in ongoing continual improvement activities and initiatives

Minimum Qualifications_

  • Material Management Diploma or APICS CPIM designation
years materials experience preferably in Automotive

  • Knowledge of SAP system
  • Excellent leadership and teaming skills
  • Project management skills and outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills: spreadsheet, word processing, graphic presentations

Salary:
$62,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
