    Salary:

    We have an exciting opportunity for a SeniorTechnologist to join our Municipal Engineering team in St. John's, NL.

    The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who enjoys working within a team environment with a highly capable group of established engineers and technologists working towards innovation and constant improvement of the services and product delivered to clients.

    Your key responsibilities:

    • Lead and assist in conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs and drawings for the full range of civil/municipal infrastructure including water distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems, pump stations, stormwater management, roadway systems, etc., using design software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
    • Develop drawings, sketches, and renderings using software such as Auto CAD and Civil 3D; knowledge of Infraworks would be an asset;
    • Complete quantity take-offs;
    • Complete surveys with GPS survey equipment and total station;

    Your capabilities and credentials:

    • Diploma in engineering technology or equivalent;
    • Strength in the production of detailed, and complete construction documents;
    • Advanced working ability with Civil 3D and AutoCAD software;
    • Develop engineering drawings packages in accordance with standards and best practices;
    • Experience working in a consulting environment would be considered an asset;
    • 7-10+ years experience is considered an asset; and
    • Possess a valid driver's license and willingness to occasionally travel to job sites;
