About the role
We're looking for a Claims Representative II, Auto to join our growing team


As a Claims Representative II, Auto, you will have the opportunity to settle auto claims for one of our specialties team, which is off queue, so you can dedicate your focus to the adjusting and working through the customer claims journey.

You will help our customers through difficult times, demonstrating empathy and strong listening skills as you investigate a wide variety of claims through to completion.


Locations can be in either of our Mississauga, Toronto, or Ottawa offices.

What you'll do here:


  • Analyze the information gathered, determine liability, and review assessment of the automobile damages.
  • Review thoroughly Insured's policies to determine coverage.
  • Interview the insured and/or witnesses to collect their statements of events to settle claims within your given authority level.
  • Provide quality service to external or internal customers.
  • Develop an action plan for conducting investigations by determining necessary information required to clarify and justify the claim.
  • Ensure timely follow up with customers on the status of their claim.
  • Manage a pending of active claims and working through to closure

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telephone Adjuster, Commercial Adjuster, Total Loss Expert or similar position
  • Understanding of the automobile claims process and customer journey.
  • Proven investigative and problemsolving ability within claims management
  • Demonstrates a passion for customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sustain a high level of performance and productivity.
  • Postsecondary education or Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) is an asset
