VPC Group Inc., has an opportunity for a permanent full time Order Entry/ Pattern Cutter.

The successful individual will be working with our Programmer in nesting and ganging orders and creating patterns for fiber cutting for various products such as couch and ottoman cushions.

Reports To:
Programming Supervisor

Job Duties:

Ensure all work is being done with your safety, and the safety of all our employees in mind.
Able to complete an assigned task / project from start to finish successfully.
Read and understand measurements for accurate pattern development
Provide backup for the Programmer including ganging and nesting, inventory control and backup for the Order Desk Administrator including but not limited to:

Effectively handle customer service issues and purchase orders

Process and follow up of internal purchase orders

Handle various administrative tasks including courier pickups and deliveries

Requirements:

Completed postsecondary education in office administration
Strong technical skills in MS Office (Word,
Excel, Outlook etc.)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, positive, outgoing personality customer centric is important
Ability to multitask and adapt to change
Ability to read and understand measurements
Ability to use various cutting methods such as scissors and cutting wheel and mat.
