The Gisborne Group is celebrating our 70 year anniversary and we have full-time permanent job opportunities available for Apprentice Sprinkler Fitters for in Edmonton, Alberta.

Job Tasks

  • Install fire sprinkler systems for residential & commercial projects
  • Preparing, joining, supporting piping system
  • Read & interpret blueprints, evaluate plans diagrams, specifications, schematics and operational/product manuals
  • Braze, cement, thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systems
  • Ensure all work is executed using safe work practices

Requirements:


  • 14 years experience installing and servicing sprinkler systems
  • Ability to read & understand blueprints
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to complete documentation with detail & accuracy
  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (50lbs)
Base Pay Rate

  • Apprentice Level 3 Base Hourly Rate $35.20
  • Apprentice Level 2 Base Hourly Rate $30.80
  • Apprentice Level 1 Base Hourly Rate $26.40
Total Compensation Rate (see below for details)

  • Apprentice Level 3 Total Compensation Hourly Rate $49.8
  • Apprentice Level 2 Total Compensation Hourly Rate $39.1
  • Apprentice Level 1 Total Compensation Hourly Rate $33.88
Additional Compensation

  • RSP 10% of base wage contributed by Gisborne (no match required)
  • Vacation pay 10.8% of base wage for each hour worked
