quality modular homes for customers and developers. Our stylish modular homes are built in a 165,000 square foot climate-controlled facility in Barrhead, Alberta.

Job Summary:

Northplex Ltd. is currently seeking a Full-Time Plumbers with 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Apprenticeships.

This position is responsible for planning, installing and servicing plumbing and heating systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls in Northplex Modular Homes.

Position Accountabilities:

Read production orders, diagrams, and specification lists
Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal.
Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials
Identify required tools and special equipment
Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded
Work within the larger team to create a safe, clean, and efficient workplace
Follows procedures accurately and carefully to ensure work is completed to the highest standards
Responsible for the use and care/maintenance of company tools, and equipment
Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

Apprentice Plumber is preferred
Considerable knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials and equipment of the plumbing trade is preferrable
Strong problem identification and problemsolving skills
Effectively handle hand and power tools required for the position
Excellent teamwork and team building skills, good communication skills and strong work ethics
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Highly organized, willing to learn, and good attendance
Perform duties in an organized and productive manner in a fastpaced environment
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work at heights
