This position will work alongside the ProjectManager, managing all commercial and financial aspects of customer projects inour portfolio.

Our team of experts, proposal managers, business developmentmanagers, project managers, and field service personnel routinely collaborateto successfully execute large complex industrial projects in the marine, on-and offshore world.


The work scope includes, but is not limited tokeeping project books and records accurate, optimizing all project KPI's,complying with all relevant regulations, communicating with customers on invoicing,cash, financing instruments and all other financial topics, handling allcommercial risks and opportunities, and providing accurate financial forecastinformation.

The role also includes supporting the BusinessController in financial closing activities and the annual Budget process.


HowYou'll Make an Impact

  • Ensure the accuracy of project books andrecords, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP
  • Ensure compliance with relevant FinancialReporting Guidelines and local GAAP requirements.
  • Manage all related Project Reporting andControlling activities
  • Provide highly accurate Budget and Forecastinformation
  • Support the Project Manager that the financialresults according to set targets are managed with due professional care andoptimize the project gross profit, cash flow, assets and financing instruments.
  • Actively communicate with customer'scommercial representatives and manage solving of commercial issues.
  • Together with the PM proactively set up acontract and claim management in the project, including involvement andcooperation with the assigned contract manager.
  • Support the PM in identifying, evaluating andassessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities takingover the full responsibility with respect to all commercial risks andopportunities.
  • Support Project Manager to select and involvepartners / subcontractors.
  • Represent the project in the relevant decisionboards internally and externally.
  • Leads commercial project team members to actaccording to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establishes a culture of trustand integrity.
  • Support Business Controller in monthlyfinancial closing an reporting activities, completing assigned work scopetimely and accurately
  • Liaise with Corporate Accounting function onpotentially complex bookkeeping questions
  • Support with annual Budget and frequentForecasting activities, complying with related deadlines and formatrequirements
  • Liaise with Region Americas PerformanceController

What You Bring

  • Minimum fouryearBusiness Administration Degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Strong backgroundon working with standard ERP systems, such as SAP (preferred).
  • Strongbackground on bookkeeping practices and relevant GAAP regulations; Accounting designation an asset.
  • Strongbackground on financial forecast and budgeting processes.
  • Must beable to interface with customers and vendors to resolve commercial/financialissues.
  • Shouldhave strong organization and excellent time management skills, as well asstrong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in Canada and be a citizen orpermanent resident.
  • IndustrialSecurity Clearance may be required to work on some projects.
  • Willingand able to travel domestically (less than 10%)
