Description

We are currently seeking Laundry Attendant for our family owned and operated Hotel.

Responsibilities and requirements include:

Job Description:

Cleaning of all hotel operational linens;
Drying of all hotel operational linens;
Ironing of all hotel operational linens;
Delivering of all hotel operational linens to the appropriate allocated sections;
Removal of linens and garbages from guestrooms;
Maintaining health and safety standards of all applicable sections.

Position requirements:

Hiring position includes working Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays. Must be available to work scheduled flexible hours between 9:00am to 11:00pm;
Possible consideration for additional scheduling hours;
Fluent in the English language;
Strong guest service and laundering skills;
Ability to work part of a team or individually;
Previous laundering experience an asset.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Physically demanding, combination of standing for extended periods, walking, bending, pushing, crouching and kneeling;
Repetitive tasks;
Will be handling heavy operational equipment and laundry loading;
Working in a face paced environment with tight deadlines.
