Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dry Cleaner Presser to join our team.
As a Dry Cleaner Presser, you will be responsible for pressing and finishing various types of garments and fabrics using a dry cleaning press machine.
You will be expected to ensure that all items are pressed to the highest standards of quality and meet the customer's expectations.
Salary will vary from $18 - $25 an hour depending on experience.Benefits are available.
Days & Hours:
- Monday
- Friday
- End day when orders are complete; normally between 12 pm 2 pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate a dry cleaning press machine to press and finish garments and fabrics
- Inspect garments for stains, tears, or other damage before pressing
- Follow established procedures for pressing various types of fabrics
- Ensure that all items are pressed to the highest standards of quality
- Check finished items for any necessary touchups
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Report any equipment issues to the supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dry Cleaner Presser is not required but preferred
- Knowledge of various types of fabrics and how to press them
- Ability to operate a dry cleaning press machine
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
