Our 24-hour, 365 days-a-year emergency service and maintenance experts are always on-call with fully equipped service vehicles to respond efficiently whenever required by our clients.

We are currently looking for a full time permanent shop assistant to help maintain a smooth operation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general warehouse functions such as: pick, pack, shipping, and receiving
• Handle inbound loads, receiving, product put away, replenishment of stock locations
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, colleagues
• Work in a safe manner and adhere to safe working procedures
• Maintain an organized and clean environment.
• Perform other general warehousing duties as assigned by Management
• Handle and transport materials and equipment
• Use power tools when needed
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions

Requirements:

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
• Good handeye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Housekeeping as needed daily, weekly and monthly
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and selfmotivated
• Dedicated to providing superior customer service and quality focused
• Experience in an overhead door company and asset

Must Have

• Clean drivers abstract
• DZ Licence ( not required but would be an asset )
• Forklift license ( not required but would be an asset )
• Welding experience ( not required but would be an asset )

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
