    About this role:

    The Credit Card Operations Representative reports to the Senior Manager, Credit Card Operations & Compliance and is responsible for providing operational support for the credit card line of business. As a key member of the Credit Card Operations team, the ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert adept at driving operational excellence, supporting key business objectives, resolving Member concerns by coordinating internal and external resources and continuously improving operational processes.

    Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

    Credit Card Operations

    • Employ a collaborative approach when working with internal partners such as Member-facing staff, Lending, and Risk teams, as well as external vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of solutions for Members
    • Act as a subject-matter-expert, delivering a consistent service level and ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders, partners and Members
    • Support the effective and timely resolution of credit card related Member concerns and complaints
    • Maintain a high-level of proficiency with the required systems, applications and resources required to complete daily operational tasks

    Operational Oversight

    • Support and provide oversight to vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with approved budget
    • Validate and support the ongoing assessment of vendor performance against Service Level Agreements

    Continuous Improvement

    • Continuously search for new and better ways to enhance the end-to-end Member experience, identify efficiencies, and reduce the costs of delivering services to cardholders
    • Support testing of key processes on a regular basis to ensure uninterrupted flow of business operations.
    • Promote team development by providing support for learning and growth opportunities related to credit card processes and procedures

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Support the remediation of issues and compliance, audit requests and regulatory activities
    • Ensure all exception and control reports are reviewed and actioned in a timely manner

    Credit Card Campaigns

    • Support fulfilment activities related to credit card marketing campaigns, cardholder engagement tactics and promotional events

    We'd Love to Work with You If You Have the following skills and abilities:

    • University bachelor's degree
    • 2-3 years of professional experience in the Financial Services industry; within credit card or payments experience preferred
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Commitment to values and service excellence
    • Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to resourcefully gather information, analyze critically and communicate clearly
    • Demonstrated ability and creativity in developing and implementing process

    Office Location: St. Catharines Corporate Office
